Barbara Katz
Barbara
is a former New Yorker and a Brooklyn College graduate. She relocated to
Florida in 1974, where she and her husband raised their children. Her children
graduated from the Sarasota Public Schools and her grandchildren attend there
as well.
Barbara
has been an active community member for over 30 years. She is a founding board
member of the SW Florida Wellness Community which offers free psycho social
support for cancer patients and their families. She is a Board member of
the Flanzer Jewish Community Center and participates in the newcomer welcome
group, The Boomers. Love for the local theatre environment in Sarasota draws
Barbara to both the Florida Studio Theatre and the Asolo Theatre regularly.
Barbara has been a realtor since 1987 and is an
Accredited Buyer Representative with a degree in G.R.I. She sells mainland and
waterfront homes, as well as, homes in golf and country club communities. She
enjoys being both a listing and a buyer's agent. Since her business is 95%
referral, Barbara obviously delivers results. She specializes in going the
"extra mile" and is known for her exceptional "after sale
care."
Gina Wallwork
Gina
was active in real estate development in Boston. When her husband received a
job as an athletic trainer for the White Sox, the two of them relocated to
Sarasota. They enjoyed the Sarasota lifestyle so much, that they decided to
stay and raise their family here.
Gina's two daughters attend Sarasota County
Public Schools. Her youngest is in 3rd grade at Wilkinson Elementary where Gina
is an active member of the PTO and co-chair of one of the school's largest
fundraisers. For the past four years, Gina has also been an active member
of SAC, the School Advisory Committee. Her 13 year old daughter is
completing her final year at Sarasota Middle School in the Pioneer Program.
Due to Gina's commitment and dedication to public education, she is a wonderful
resource for young families moving to the Sarasota area.
